AqFresh™ odour & VOC elimination technology at IZB 2024

We will be exhibiting our AqFresh™ odour & VOC elimination technology for automotive interior materials. Come and visit us at stand 1226 in Hall 1 at International Suppliers Fair (IZB) from 22nd to 24th October 2024.

 

AqFRESH™ significantly reduces odours from rigid recycled plastics

AqFresh™ has been compounded (or added via masterbatch) into rigid plastics and proven to significantly reduce VOCs & odours according to the VDA-270 C3, VDA-278, ISO12219-2 and PV3942.

 

AqFResh™ is effective in a wide range of materials

AqFresh™ is an additive technology that removes VOCs & odours. It uses cucurbiturils – barrel-shaped molecules with a unique symmetrical structure - a hollow, hydrophobic cavity and polar portals - to capture a wide range of molecules. 

AqFresh™ has been successfully incorporated into plastics, nonwovens, textiles and coatings to remove VOCs, odours & pollutants released by these materials themselves as well as capturing external environmental odours.

  • Automotive Interior Rigid Plastics – PP plastic dashboard material with AqFresh™ has 1.5pts less VOCs/Odours on VDA-270
  • Automotive Interior Coated Textiles – AqFresh™ reduces odours from PVC coated textiles by 1  – 1.5 points on VDA-270 (when applied to the base textile layer)
  • Automotive Interior Nonwovens – AqFresh™ has been added to typical headliner nonwovens to capture odours & VOCs
